Recap of Thanksgiving Party

Looking back, I think the Thanksgiving party could be a lot better. On the other hand it could be a lot worse. Below are the of the ratings on all of the catergories that I could think of.

Best Dressed Lady: Lie^n won this hand down. She was the only one showed up in a nice black lace dress with matching accessories. As a matter of fact, she had to change again later so that she wouldn't outshine the rest of the ladies. With a few exceptions, two thumbs down for the ladies. You didn't wear anything much different from what we have seen in school.

Best Dressed Gentleman: I don't know who to give this to, which is a good thing. Ladies, who do think should get this award? In general, I think the guys dressed up a lot more than the ladies. Two thumbs up for the men.

Worse Dressed Lady: In general, women have more fashion sense than the guys so I didn't see any thing that stood out as the worse. Then again, you couldn't do much wrong with the basic shirt and pants.

Worse Dressed Gentlemen: There are two winners of this category: Tra` and the guy (name?) with the head covering thingie! Tra` looked pretty good from top to ankles. The dirty tennis shoes killed the whole handsome image! I wondered what the head covering thing is for? Was it for the hair cut or the ears due to cold weather? Either way, there are much better thing to use than that thing!

Location: A+. I think the room 210 was a lot better than the After Hours. It is smaller, enclosed, and more comfy. This forced people to sit close together rather than into small seperated groups.

MusicMusic Equipments: A+. Thank to Quy`nh and Trung, the music sounded great. The lightings were also pretty cool.

Dance Music: B-. I don't think everybody was satisfied with the music selection. I think Ve^` Nguo^`n's 2000 dance music was a lot better. Someone should sit down, hands pick, and arrange the order of the songs properly. There should be plenty of variety of style and not two of the same type in the row.

DJ: C+. There was nothing worse than stopping the song in the middle of the dance, much less several times in a row! I don't know whether this is due to the equipments or the guys sitting in front of the thing.

Foods: A-. All of the foods were OK. Most of them got in safely under the cover of our stomaches! The soup was pretty good, even if you had to eat or drink it out of the cup. The fried rice was also good. There weren't enough turkey to go around, which was my fault. Cakes and fruits were also OK. I didn't know of anyone who had to run to the restroom. A round of hands for those who brought the foods to the party.

Luckiest persons: Hie^'u and I. Hie^'u got a pair of tickets to the dance thing on Sunday. For those of you who didn't know yet, Hie^'u (deyeu???) and Oanh is now officially a thing. Have fun on Sunday, Hie^'u. And for me, I got to dance with a nice and pretty young lady, especially a slow dance at that. Thank BT, you made my night. I am looking forward to the next time. Hopefully, I can dance a lot better then <g>. I also won 5 bucks for a lap dance! I hope Quy`nh enjoyed that dance as much as I was <g>!

Unluckiest persons: All of those who didn't show up for the party. We had plenty of fun, dancing, and good foods. Where is Tra^`m Mi from CPCC? I thought she wouldn't miss anything like this! Also missing was Vu~ Phu, oops! I meant, Vu~ & Phu' <g>, another pair with the thing going on.

Things We Could Do Without: Guys, you can drop the macho wrestling things. It may be fun at some place else but not at a party. Things could get out of hands and you would spoiled the evening for everyone else. Sneaking behind the lady to do the humping thing at any time doesn't speak well for your behavior. Pretty soon, people wouldn't be surprise to see you humping a tree on the street. Doing things like these would only turn off the ladies

Things We Could Use More Of: Class, class and class. I guess it was too much to expect that out of a bunch of guys. Some of the classy gals (Pardon me for using such an unclassy term) that I knew the names of are Ba?o Tra^n, Quye^n, Giang and Tha?o.

Fun: A+. Party is a place you come to have fun. Dancing is fun. Playing cards is also fun. Watching people dance is fun. Making a fool of oneself is fun. Eating is also fun. Because fun can be a lot of things, I think most of us had fun at the party. I glad I brought two decks of cards. To some, playing cards is more fun than dancing, especially if you don't have a partner to dance with, or don't know how to dance well. I had never seen any lady played card like Lie^n. She played Tie^'n Le^n with a passion, ga^`m gu*` du*~ ho*n co.p. A few did leave the party a bit early but that's OK as long as you enjoyed at least some parts of the party. A lot more people participated in the imitation game than I thought, with some pretty creative immitations. Sorry Quye^n (me^ ba`i), I didn't mean to p** at your feet<g>. I will make up for it later. After Oanh left, Hie^'u looked like a lost man. It look pretty serious to me! He finally looked like his normal self at the card game after the party. Be' Ha.nh was a smooth operator, stole my deck of card, put it in her purse, like it was to be, the place it should be. At this rate, I won't need to bring cards with me any more, everybody will already have one available! Things couldn't get any better than that <g>!

Last but not least, happy birthday to Bi`nh. It's her 19th birthday. Well while I am at it, happy birthday to everyone who was born on someday of this year <g>. In addtion, I would like to know the birthdays of these ladies since they are now my friends: (not in any particular order) Giang, Tha?o, Ha.nh, Oanh, (both) Quye^n, Ba?o Tra^n, Minh Cha^u, Kim Tuye^'n. If I missed to name anyone, please forgive me. My memory is terrible (a sign of old age!). Feel free to ignore this request if you don't want people to know your birthday or think that I am not worthy of this knowledge. Since I asked for people's birthday, it is only fair that I disclose mine: Dec. 4. The guys will have to fend for themselves. Beside, it raised uncomfortable questions when guy gave another guy a gift!!!
