 Yeah!
It was a sucess. It didn't look that way at first but we was swarmed with
people buying foods many, many times during the day. The foods were really,
really good. They didn't look that way when we prepared them in previous
days! The drum and mu'a La^n (Dragon dance) was a big hit. It attracted a lot of people to our table which helped a lot. The ladies who weared a'o da`i for the school's Parade of Nations looked stunning. Quy`nh who donned a red traditional garb looked very handsome also. Some brought a lot of objects to show people of the world samples of our language, music, arts, and clothings. We even had a name-writing table where we writed people's names in Vietnamese. At the end, we sold out everything and gained a lot of experiences for next year! We encountered many ostacles during the day such as no power for the food warmers, not enough changes to give to people, not enough cups and drinks, etc... But we overcomed them all and raised a lot of money for the treasury. Now we have funds to do a lot of other planned activities! A lot of thanks to everyone who helped out or showed up. Especially to the ones who stayed to the end or/and helped with the clean up at the SAC or/and at Tuan Cao's house.
