Flag Football Game 2: VSA Butterfingers (2 - 0) vs. Green Machine

Yeah baby! Two down for the VSA ButterFingers flag football team. The final score was 35 - 0. The Green Machine team was outmatched both in term of personnel as well as talents. There were 10 Butterfingers against only five Green Machine players. After playing the game with an advantage of seven players against only five which yielded many easy scoring opportunities, our Butterfingers evened the odd by playing five versus five. Only then does the skills of our Butterfinger players became apparent. They still outplayed the opposite team. After a while, the other five players became bore and wanted to play so they divided into two teams: one for offense and the other for defense!

At one point in the game, a Butterfingers player escaped the defense and walked slowly to the end zone for a touch down. As soon as he went pass the touchdown line, a referee throw a yellow flag, cited a unsportman-like conduct which in my opinion, was bull! From what I heard (which may or may not be true), this referee had ruled unfavorably toward our players in the past (not just in flag football). After that, we all went wild and cheered as loud as we could for every little thing just to piss that ref off :-).

There were more people coming out to support the players this time. There were 5 ladies this time and a bunch more guys, totaling around more than dozen spectators. There even water, ice, and cup for the players and the spectators to refresh themselves. Way to go, VSA!

A pass that was too high for Chung.
