I don't remember much about the Welcome Back party last year but I heard that there were more people presented than last year. There were a lot of new faces in the crowd which is a good thing. VSA will need a lot of help in preparing for the Vietnamese Night event.

Looking back, the party was OK! It was not as much fun as I hoped it would be. However, I went to the International Club party a few days before and our party was a lot better in every facets: food, music, and dancing. Even so, there were items planned for the party which never got off the ground such as group games or free membership lottery. Dan, our president, seemed ill-prepared for his speech! Repeating a word or phrase two or three times does not make a good impression. Most of the people weren't listening to what was being said anyway! Here is a hint: Do something to get people's attention before making any kind of important speech. But overall, it was a good try for the new regime.
